Tracey graduated from Quinnipiac University, Hamden, CT. She received her Masters in Physical Therapy in January 2001. Tracey entered the field of Physical Therapy immediately following graduation in 2001 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ where she was involved in acute care, outpatient rehabilitation, and lymphedema treatment and management. Tracey received additional training in Manual Lymph Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy at Klose Norton Training and Consulting in 2001 where she also received her training as a Certified Elvarex® fitter. Tracey became nationally certified in lymphedema therapy by the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA) in 2004. She has since participated in numerous advanced training programs for lymphedema management including the Lymphedema Management Conference for Certified Lymphedema Therapists, the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Center/Klose Norton Lymphedema Conference, Staging and Management of Patients with Breast Cancer, and MLD/CDT Theoretical Review Course, and the most recent international Lymphedema Conference in San Francisco. Tracey has lectured numerous times at the Cancer Support Community (formerly the Wellness Community) on lymphedema practices and treatment.
Tracey is the co-founder of the Peapod Purse a Lymphedema Non-Profit who annually sponsors a Lymphedema Awareness Walk in NJ.
Most recently, in 2016, Tracey was awarded the opportunity to travel with Cindy Roberts, Medical Education Advisor for BSN-Medical, to the Foldi clinic in Hinterzarten Germany for the advanced lymphedema training workshop. She was also able to visit the BSN-Medical Jobst Plant in Emmerich, Germany.
Kristy attended Sacred Heart University (Fairfield, CT), graduating in 2000 with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She continued at Sacred Heart, and earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy Degree in 2002. She also received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The MGH Institute of Health Professions, Boston, MA in 2006. Kristy has worked in private practice outpatient settings specializing in: Lymphedema, Breast Cancer Related Lymphedema (BCRL), Leg Lymphedema, Arm Lymphedema, Orthopedics, Geriatrics, pre- and post-operative treatment, sports injuries, overuse syndromes, and balance and fall prevention and treatment. Kristy has completed continuing education courses in Pilates and Myofascial Release, and incorporates these techniques into individualized treatment plans. She completed Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy Certification and received Elvarex Fitter Certification with the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy in 2008. Kristy has also received additional education in treatment of brachial plexus injuries, manual therapy for the spine and pelvis, Advanced Elvarex training, wound care, and Spanish for Physical Therapists. She became certified by the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA) in 2009. Kristy has been working for Wyatt Rehab since May 2008.
Sue graduated from MCCC in 2010 with a Physical Therapist Assistant Degree. Sue has worked in private and hospital-based Outpatient and Sub-acute settings, specializing in orthopedics, geriatrics and aqua therapy. Sue has completed continuing education courses in: manual therapy techniques, aqua therapy, fall prevention, and advances in joint arthroplasty. She received training in Manual Lymph Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy as well as her Elvarex Fitter Certification from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy in March 2014.
Melissa Young, PT, DPT, CLT
Physical Therapist/Certified Lymphedema Therapist
Melissa graduated from Bucknell University in 2012 with her Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies with an emphasis on Japanese language. She furthered her education at Rutgers University School of Health Related Professions (formerly UMDNJ) and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in May 2015. During her clinical rotations, she primarily worked with the geriatric population with a concentration on total joint replacements, neuro rehab and lymphedema treatment. In November 2015, she began working at Wyatt Rehab after completing her Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) Certification and JOBST Elvarex Compression Garment Certification from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy.
